The Poly looks gorgeous, I do like to give my DD some say in the holiday planning however not sure if I should let it go as far as hotel choices,

You can always walk/get the boat/get the monorail to the GF from the Poly to sample the restaurants, Claire... The Poly is just gorgeous - I must get to stay there soon!!!

Afternoon everyone

My parents have left for their cruise under strict instructions to bring me back a pressie from everywhere they go

Had a productive monring, washing is done & on the line. I'll iron my unfiform once its dry. I have also tidied up the computer room/study. The amount of papaerwork that needed shredding. I won't leave it so long next time

I managed to get a lie in this morning......7am! Although I was awake half the night so made no difference anyway. Took the dogs out with hubby then we took Bailey to the vets for her fortnightly injection.

Just spent the last few hours sorting through the last 6 months of photos & clearing them off my laptop & on to the external storage unit. Now going to get the dinner started & then looking forward to watching the x factor tonight with a glass of wine of two.

You were lucky. I'm glad my DD is allowed to wear black trainers now as when she needed proper shoes we always had to order them the first week of the holidays to be sure of getting them in time for spetember. (She's a c to d fitting.)

we still have to get pumps as they didn't have them in a G fit however at least we got shoes and trainers.

It's quite a challenge to get them kitted out for school isn't it? My DD is going into year 11 so this will be the last time I need to buy any uniform - which makes me a bit sad, but at least it's only one more year of uniform detentions. I always buy her exactly what she needs but she seldom wears it the way her school want her too!

They are on the Oriana going to Dublin, Somewhere is Spain & a couple of places in France ( I can't remember) The 1st stop was meant to be in Falmouth but due to high winds they are going straight to Dublin so get an extra day there They have never been on a cruise before so are only going for 7 nights in case they don't like it. Although my dad has just texted me to say he has had the 6 course meal & was very nice.

All this talk of school uniforms is making me feel like a bad mother now - ive not started yet. I got DD a pair of pumps last week (but shes not even tried them on yet so might not fit her) and some new socks. And thats it. I need to get my act together.

I am not looking forward to going back there today!!

DD stuff wasn't to bad cost wise, just took a few trips to get it all they didn't always have it in store. plus DD is getting more picky as she gets older, if she is like this at 7 I am dreading when she is 13,
