yipee :cool1: ITS THE WEEKEND !!!!

Ive finished work for this week, im waiting for Joh and gary to arrive and we are going out for a meal later and Alton towers tomorrow :thumbsup2

Enjoy the weekend guys :)

Afternoon everyone!!! :wave2:
It's finally raining here - but not very convincingly so doubt the mugginess is going anywhere. :(

Feeling a bit off colour today - which I'm thinking is mainly down to a couple of glasses of pink cava I had last night. I found the third full bottle at the back of the fridge with a fizz-saver securely in place so thought it should be OK. It tasted fine and was still sufficiently fizzy so 'result' I thought. Except that the second glass gave me a headache so I chucked the rest away and went to bed... I woke up this morning feeling like I'd drunk two bottles not two glasses and had to take Tylenol with my grapefruit juice!!!

My off-colouriness wasn't helped by the presence of a HUGE, BEEPIN' MASSIVE, HIDEOUS SPIDER IN THE CLOAKROOM SINK!!! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I screamed, the dogs barked and Samuel had to get up in a hurry to save my sanity...

Spider disposed of and it was time to go to the gym. So, with wobbly legs, a headache and waves of nausea, I drove to Virgin Active and spent an hour wavemastering, crunching, bicep curling, planking, cycling and so on... Bizarrely, it actually helped and it was nice to be in a place where I wasn't going to be menaced by an 8-legged monster at every turn...

Anyway, better get on. Richard's back this evening :yay: and I need to get something for dinner - as well as a fresh bottle of something nice with which to toast Samuel's AS Level success... ;)

I have got 3 weeks booked and to plan for next august and I am starting to still feel like it is not enough days to do everything we want,:rotfl: So far got 7 nights with the poly and 4 nights taken up by the cruise however I also want to book, AKV, BC and HRH however I not sure how to fit them into the remaining 10 nights:rotfl:.

Evening all. I'm shattered, I have finished nights this morning & went straight to Norfolk to visit my great aunt. I have been awake for over 30 hours:eek: as we had a steady shift last night which meant I didn't managed to get a nap in at work

you sound like super woman,:rotfl:

I have just done some baking with DD, and it went okay seeing as I am not the most domesticated person(understatement of the century!). DD is now having her daily Internet time while we wait for the icing to set before we test the cakes.

I'm sure they will be yummy:thumbsup2

I'm having a relaxing day myself. Off to the cinema & a drink with my cousin later. She has just come back from holiday so will hear all about it.

I'm looking forward to tomorrow as my parents are going on a cruise & I get the house to myself:yay:

Well its currently raining here, seems to be a trend now.
Going to pop to Next and Clarkes shortly for school coats and shoes (for the children not me ;) )..then home to pop tea on and watch BB later..Exciting times :rotfl:

Hi All
Karen we are have the living room decorated, nohing fancy just planish paper. got to get decorator in cause i can't do it anymore :sad2:, which makes me mad cause i liked doing the decorating:mad:

How wwere the cakes with the icing on your Dd made Claire , bet they were yummy. did you have then for tea ;)

They were quite nice, DD wouldn't wait until they set though so got sticky fingers everywhere.

Just been looking at WDW pictures with DD and she has said she wants to stay at GF as she prefers the resturants there

Do you think you'll change to the GF then Claire?

I had a nice time with my mum today. Didn't really buy much but just needed to do a few things such as go to the bank & collect my ring from the jewellers.

Had a great result on some new dog beds, only went in to buy one but it didn't have a price tag so 10 mins later the manager finally finds it on the system and says it's 1/2 price as they are clearing out for new stock, so should have been £49.99 reduced to £25, then without me saying anything she said but I'll let you have it for £20 as I kept you waiting so long! :woohoo: I then decided as they were so cheap (for a large mattress type dog bed) that I would buy Bailey one too. So £45 for the 2. :thumbsup2

I don't know yet, I will have to think about it as I prefer the look of the polynesian resort.

Glad you had a nice day,:)

I had the same problem last year when booking this trip....couldn't decide between the GF & the Poly for our last 4 nights. I opted for the Poly & I'm so glad I can't wait to stay there next month. :thumbsup2

The Poly looks gorgeous, I do like to give my DD some say in the holiday planning however not sure if I should let it go as far as hotel choices,:confused3
