Good Morning everyone

Im off to A&E - I slipped last night on my way home from work and banged my elbow really badly. I got to my car and passed out. DH collected me and wanted to take me to A&E then but I didnt want to go coz I thought it would be OK.
However it is still so painful and swollen so Im going to get it checked out

Ouch! Hope it gets better soon

Well im back from A&E - fortunately its not broken but is badly infected - the gash is deep and its still bleeding

They've given me antibiotics and dressed it. Ive also had a tetanus injection.

I want to get Sims 3 but my pc doesn't meet the spec needed Having said that the last add on for the Sims 2 doesn't work on my pc even though I have downloaded the patch that is meant to fix it

Mine has the right spec but kept on getting the same error message -I've googled this and its says to install it using the safe mode so will try that tonight!

Sadly my swine flu symptoms have not developed into anything worse - or maybe this is it? Hopefully! I just rid of it before we go away!

It turned out well actually ! not as good as yours obviously but the kids have eaten loads ( i had some for my lunch)

Happy/sad last day of term. I was very lucky and got pressies from the children. I even had 2 cards and a mug that had "classroom assistant" printed on them - I've never seen anything like that before.

Staff meal tonight where we can say our final farewells to the teachers that are leaving.

It was ok. I didn't really like Casey Affleck or the woman who played the girlfriend because they didn't look like they came from that neighbourhood. The good thing was that it really made you think about whether children are better off with their natural parents or not.

My bath seems to be my new phone ... I'll explain. When DS and DD were little and playing happily I'd decide to make a phone call and all hell would break loose. Now they are 18 and 15 and totally occupied and I decide to take a relaxing bath - guess what? Yes, all hell breaks loose.

So instead of feeling relaxed and ready for my evening out I feel like banging their heads together.

you have my sympathies hun, DD (11) has dicovered her social life and has spent most of the day parading in and out with her mates and expecting them all to be fed

I can see the food bill increasing !!

Joking aside i find both my kids make friends really easily ( the plus side of my job i suspect) and as she goes up to high school its interesting to see how Ellie's social circle has widened and moved on !
