No wait for me at 8am EST on the DCL website. However, for the cruise we booked on Tuesday, 2 connecting cabins in the class we want are unavailable. I can jump up a class (for more money) or drop down a class (for less money), but from prior experience, I'm very pleased with the cabins we booked. However, I still wish they were less expensive.
I booked at about 6:45am EST today. I'm silver, but could never get through on the phone yesterday. No issue really as the price I booked for online was the same as that reported by posters on platinum's first booking day.
Interesting, mine was exactly the same. I'm assuming you have a 10% on-board booking discount. I think that 10% discount is only applied to the cruise fare and not the "taxes, fees, and port expenses"..
The category and date I booked on Monday is exactly the same price today as it was on Monday. BUT I got the exact cabin I wanted and used a placeholder so I am happy.
Usually we don't plan this far in advance (we have been known to book anywhere from 6 months to 8 days in advance and everything in between) but we are celebrating my daughters 18th birthday and we leave ON her birthday this time so she has a whole week to experience Palo and the Rainforest.
She is the only member of our family of 4 to have celebrated all her birthdays on the Fantasy since 2014. (We started sailing in November 2013 so we missed that year.) lol
