general advice for Disney please.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know if all of the disney theme park tickets, no matter where you buy them from. Do they include the monorail and waterboat transport or do you have to pay to use them.
Also is it worth hiring a car ?

We are going for a week and was going to buy a 4 day pass and a one day to sea world.

Hope someone can help as we have never been there before, and do not want to waste our short time there running round unnecessarily.

So any advice would be greatly appreciated.

ps: we are staying at the Holiday Inn Express, Polynesian Isle Boulevard, Kissimee.

But it does cost to park, if your not staying on propery. Plus the monorail & boat are only for Magic Kingdom, and there is a monorail to Epcot. Hope this helps

Disney World is almost 40 sq. miles!!! It's a little city state!! I would try to figure out which parks you want to do each day and plan accordingly!!

Find the right topic board here and you can get all kinds of questions answered.

Since you are staying offsite at the Holiday Inn, you really should get a car. Even if they have a bus to the Disney parks, you will be on their once or twice a day schedule and may not be able to get maximum use of your ticket time. Same for Seaworld. Offsite report buses often do not get to parks by opening time.

A car means you can get to a grocery store for some drinks or snacks or breakfast items for your room, and you can choose some cheaper meals than you will find at the parks.
