General ? about ADRS and TAs

I booked my Disney trip for Feb. break with a TA and I might be cancelling on her and rebooking through dvcrentals. I'm not 100% sure, but it looks like it's going that way. I was booked at Pop.

She booked my ADRs for me. How do I go about taking control of them? When I ask for a refund, she can't cancel them, can she?

I'd be sure to get the ADR info from her before you even let her in on the cancellation. As long as you have the ADR confirmation number and phone number used (which, technically should have been yours, since it's "Number we can reach you at on vacation") you can keep an eye on them. When you do cancel, let her know that you wish to keep those ADRs that were made and, hopefully, she shouldn't cancel them on you.

Technically, since she has that info, it's possible. It'd be a real dick move if she did though. You also may be able to change the email address associated with them, I'm not sure on that, but if you can, it would give you a notification if anything changed with them (e.g. they got canceled). You'd have to call Disney Dining for that though (if it's even possible).

Were you given confirmation #s for the adr's? I agree with Cafeen. I'd make sure you have all the info before you cancel with the travel agent.
