So my DH and I are expecting our 2nd child and today we found out that it is another boy. We will be in Disney in 2 weeks and we would love to reveal the gender while there. Any ideas on how to do it? I guess I am not really creative with this sort of thing!

I like that idea^^ you could also have a pic showing you picking between a pink balloon and a blue one in front of the castle
Congrats on the baby! I love baby boys ;) I had 3 before I had a daughter!princess:

Maybe buy mickey ears (the headband ones) and put them on your belly in a pic in front of the castle.

Or but the other ones and embroider "It's a boy!" and take a pic by castle.

I think it would be cute to also have something in the photo (like the Mickey Ears) that he can wear for a photo on his first trip to Disney!

I also like the idea of Mickey helping hold a sign.

Are you going with others, or do you just want a photo as a sort of remembrance?

You could get some of the baby blue mouse ears and have them write "Baby Smith" or whatever on the back -- even the name, if you already have one picked out.

Take 2 photos. photo 1 You could go into a store and hold up 2 clothing items, 1- girly 1-boy. Photo 2 hold up boy outfit as winner

If your family is traveling with you then a yummy cake or cookie surprise is always fun! I'm sure that you could order a cake with blue mickey ears or something.

For a photo maybe get some kind of cute photo with you guys in front of your favorite landmark and a blue mickey balloon.

We aren't going with others but we are going to post the photo on FB while we are there to announce the gender to all of our friends.

Everyone's ideas are great!!! We had even planned on getting him ears because we already know the name so we could use those.

We had DD wear her big sister shirt in front of the castle and hold one of the pink Mickey head balloons :)

This post made me tear up, since I was supposed to be finding out the gender of our baby the day before we left for Disney next month, but I had a miscarriage, so I won't be able to use any of my gender reveal ideas, so I will pass them on to you.
1. The pink or blue balloon in front of the castle
2. I was going to have my son hold a baby Mickey or Minnie toy from the store in DTD. (That was also going to be baby's 1st present from big brother)
3. There's a bakery in MK, I have seen pink and blue cupcakes there.
4. I was thinking of having my cousin embroider all of us a shirt with Mickey's head and have a little head on my belly, with a clip on bow that we could add ourselves if it was a girl. That way she couldn't spoil the surprise either way.
5. Goofy's candy shop in DTD has a lot of things that you could use that would also make a cute souvenier to bring back to relatives.

Put DS in a "Big Brother t-shirt and then pose for a pic in front of the castle-- you could have a blue and a pink balloon in your hand and he could be taking the blue one from you for the picture.

I love the idea of Mickey holding a sign, too!

I like idea of getting the baby boy mickey ears and holding them over your belly. Then that is something for the baby too, not just a prop.

When we had our second, I bought a t-shirt for my oldest that said Big Bro and two rompers. One said Lil Bro, one said Lil Sis. So for the reveal, oldest worse his shirt and carried the other with the words hidden and then (really dramatically) turned it around. Everyone was really surprised because most people thought he was a girl. (Worked out too because we gave the Lil Sis one to a friend so it didn't go to waste.)

Congratulations and good luck deciding!

Hugs! :grouphug: I know how you feel because I actually had a miscarriage right before this pregnancy. Sending some pixie dust your way that you will get pregnant again soon with a happy healthy baby! Thank you for the suggestions!
