Geman buffet, are there small tables that you don't have to dine with strangers?

I was a little apprehensive eating with strangers our first time, but we had a BLAST.I will agreee with others in that it is extremely unlikely they will seat you alone. The tables mostly are for 8 and they fit every last person into the table they can.It really isn't all that bad though. My daughter loves it so much it is her request when we go.The food is good too

Don't worry about sitting at the same table. It will feel the same as Le Cellier :)

Just sit down say hello and see that happens. The last time we went that was all that was said. We are getting up and down for the buffet then the show will start during your meal.

Our experience was not quite as pleasant. When we got up to fill our plates, some newer people who had just been seated, decided to move us down because they wanted to sit where we were. When we came back to the table our stuff was all rearranged, and no apology was even made. We were kind of freaked out!

It's just not our kind of place. It was pretty uncomfortable for us. We won't be going back.

We went there for dinner Easter week last year. We are a famiy of 5 and we had our own table. It was one of the longer ones right next to the dance floor. It was perfect. The kids danced when the music was playing and we relaxed and had a nice liter of beer.

I would not have minded sitting with others and I was surprised that during a peak travel week at dinner ADR we weren't, but I loved having time to relax and just hang with my DH while kids danced.

The Le Cellier statement is so true and I love that place:rotfl: Was nervous about other people eating manner and being respectful of personal space....I will go though with a positve mind set and a fun spirit and hope for the best... Again the beer will lighten any worries;)

I will take that in advisement, sitting with people you don't really know can have its good and not so great surprises..Hoping for the good one, and more beer:woohoo: That did sound like a not so nice time for you guys, sorry you experienced that:scared1:

Well, there were the folks who got annoyed when my party started ordering beer. So we made sure to clink glasses and sing with the band a lot. And order more beer.

If you're going to get annoyed when other folks order beer you might want to eat somewhere that isn't called the Biergarten.
