Gel polish

Does the gel polish or its removal damage your nails? I have been blessed with strong nails that grow quickly. The two time I had tips on my nails, my nails were tissue paper like until the damaged nail grew out. I usually don't bother with nail polish because regular polish chips so quickly.

I'm curious about the gel polish, but I would hate to damage my nails.

I had to stop getting them done. I got them at my salon and it was the OPI gel whatever. My nails just started SNAPPING off after the second Gel manicure I had. I have natural long nails and I was livid! it took me two "grows" to get their strength back.

I think I'll skip the gel manicure for sure. I'm happy with my long, strong, healthy nails. But I may try it for my toes.
