DD just introduced me to the fun of these and they are fantastic. For me salons are out of the question at the moment but polish never lasts more than a day. These stay put about one and a half weeks and it's been so nice to look down and see color, I just got my DD and I a few sets for Valentines. Totally loving the mix and match, this time I am doing blue and a sweater pattern.

Thing is they are tempting to just peel off, and they do just peel off, but this doesn't seem to be a great idea at the nail tip. First time it was fine but this time they peeled, not a big deal because the new layer of polish will keep intact until they grow out so there must be a better way. I read acetone works but with all the alcohol I use and how dry my hands are that doesn't seem like a good idea. Anyone out there have a good non harsh chemical way to remove gel nail strips other than just peeling them off?

I use Color Street nail polish strips, they are not gel but these nail clips work great. I use mineral fusion nail polish remover on a cotton ball and clip it to your nail and wait 5-10 minutes and it comes right off.
