Gel Insoles Question

OK. Call me a moron. But, are you supposed to put those things in your shoes gel side up so your feet are against the gel part? The actual insoles say "Left Bottom" and "Right Bottom" on the gel side -- which would lead me to believe they are intended to be put in your shoes with the gel part down (so your feet aren't actually touching the gel part). That just doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. So, please, somebody who knows -- set me straight. My feet will thank you.

Gel side typically goes down to "stick" into the shoe.

BTW- it works to be a shock absorber between the ground and your feet.

Yup that's right :)

Thanks for posting this by the way, you just reminded me to go and pack mine before we leave in a few days! They are so the best!!!

I swear by these things, so does DBF altho his feet hurt no matter what (he has plantar facaitis (sp)). The gel goes in facing down so your feet are against the moleskin side, otherwise the gels would just stick to your socks. :) Don't ask me how I know that.....LOL
