Maybe we could pay them in bon bons?

So former Buckeye, how do you like living in Florida?

The world leaders would just take our bon bons without asking first then make us pay taxes on them. lol

I love living here! It took some getting used to (the first two summers were rough!), but I have no regrets at all about the move. :thumbsup2

I have been spot checking this thread and I am dying here! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Thanks! :thumbsup2

I wonder how many posts I can make in the last few seconds of my break.

I should explain. I work in ajob that requires me to be by the phone. I have desk work to do, but I am allowed on the internet if it keeps me from wandering away from the phone.

I really long to be a snow bird someday. I don't think I could leave Ohio completely.

Wow, I hate Cleveland. :rotfl:
My brother lives in Orlando, got a job offer in Cleveland (good, good job)....

It took him two weeks to decide there is no WAY he could leave Orlando for the city where the river caught on fire.

No offense. He's a weirdo. He loves West Virginia like a big sappy dork.

DH and I? We're going SOUTH after our VA requirement is up on this house (2 years baby!) ... and almost counting down the days! :rotfl:

The river thing was a long time ago. We have great, hard working people and a fun city with lots of great sports and entertainment. The winter weather is rough, but our season changes are awesome. I haven't lived anywhere else, but I absolutely love it here. DH and I had the chance to move when he was having a hard time finding a teaching job, but our families are all here and it would be really hard to go. And yeah, the city is pretty much dying, but there are a lot of those right now. :sad2:

But I'll come visit you when you move! :thumbsup2

I want to live in America......

I dont care were.

:upsidedow

I know, it's just what he refers to it as. He really likes that beer. With the picture of the river burning, I think?

It wasn't meant offensively. I live in chemical valley. The study that USA today did...about air pollution in schools? The high school I went to is in the middle of the town-- and out of 127,809 schools w/ air quality tested, my school only had 72 with worse air quality. Out of 127, 809. :scared1:
98% of the *toxicity* is from the plant where my Dad works (which is actually in Ohio) :rolleyes1
I'm used to things like burning rivers. :rotfl:

I've lived in Ohio, WV and KY. I was born in WV and my parents moved back whenever both their dads had heart attacks within 6 months of each other.
KY was my favorite... we were 45 minutes from Cincinatti. Love that place! :lovestruc
( I did a brief stay in Florida but my roommate was a whackadoodle and I fled home!)

We're looking at South Carolina-- DH looks at jobs all the time. You like the Carolinas? :)

:rotfl:

I like to think of it as the best possible outcome from a post that the OP probably wishes they never thought of! :thumbsup2

Did anyone notice the OP turned off their PM when the thread started? Not that I was thinking of pm'ing anyone..I don't do that, but I was wondering if someone would start something so imflamatory and let people send them pms..the answer is "no".

I like how the OP said:

I figured out the numbers for one poster and for over five years that poster has written an average of 12 posts a day - that's nuts!

Wow, she had all that time to figure out the numbers, when she could have just clicked on their profile where it tells you average posts per day!

And I wish I had 15,000 posts for no reason other than I am very greedy.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You know everytime I see those little guys they make me think of brain cells. :lmao: Could that have any bearing on why I don't have a life. :lmao:

I moved 1100 miles to get away from my family. :lmao: Come on down to visit, though. Hubby gets discounts at the CM store. :thumbsup2

Great Lakes Brewing! Burning River Pale Ale. Yum! And I don't like beer.

I think the Carolinas are great. We vacationed near Gatlinburg last year (I hated Gatlinburg). I loved the mountains, but there was nothing anywhere for like ever. There are of course parts of Ohio that are the same. I love my busy little 'burb. I'll totally come visit if you move down there!

My brother LOVES beer. He's a beer-a-holic. But that Burning River Pale Ale is one of his favorites. :thumbsup2

I don't like Gatlinburg, either.
We vacationed in Orlando last year. Er, well.. I cleverly disguised it to DH as a visit to my brother (he's not big on vacations) :rolleyes1 ...
And of course, in May, Las Vegas.. where we got married!
