just in time for your bath

Judi, so glad to see you back. I was worried about ya.

I'm at work with Andy today. Hoping to get him into the vet early this morning as he's still not eating (10 lb dogs can't go without too many meals, unlike me, who could stand to skip about 3 months' worth). Andy has issues and hates everyone so it should be an interesting morning here at the office with him.

Smiley, I wish I was paving my way to WDW. Unfortunately, with the cost of these pavers, I'm going in the wrong direction. Concrete would have been so much cheaper and faster but noooooo, Pakey wanted pavers at a house she is never going to live in. I'm not world famous for my good decisions.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I hope this turns out to be a tag for you!

Hope the vet can get Andy back on track quickly and that Andy doesn't attack anyone today. ;)

Judi, so glad to see you back and I'm glad you brought beefcake with you!

Yay!!! Judi's back!!!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Pakey, laying pavers you don't have to have at a house you won't live in in 100 degree weather.......... priceless!!!

Hi, PrincessK'smom!!

Hi Kerri. Should you be getting ready to leave? You've got some offroading to do!

Hi Kerri. Should you be getting ready to leave? You've got some offroading to do!

I'm mostly ready. I finally packed my clothes a few minutes ago. I even managed to get everyone's clothes in one suitcase, except the baby's. I just need to pack the food. Two vehicles and we barely have enough room for everything and everyone. :sad2:

Hey...

Kerri have a great trip.

So its bahookie shots ye want...no worries Im yer gal.

Do you think I should tell DH or wait and see if he gets suspicious when I duck behind Donald Ducks behind !!?

I'll tell you what Scotlass -- how about you and I have a little old fashioned game of "Bahookie Call". I'll get as many butt shots as I can on my trip, and you see if you can out bahookie me on your trip. Or maybe we should let the others decide what is the hardest bahookie to get a shot of, then it is up to you and me to see which of us gets the shot -- kind of like butt paparazzi. :rotfl:

Happy 4th everyone. I know you all have lives this weekend but my internet connection at home is working for a change and I have to post when I get that window.

I love the idea of bahookie paparazzi.

In case you didn't know, laying pavers in 106 degree weather is hard work. Especially 2 days in a row. Yesterday we worked from 6am to 8:30 pm. I'm sooooo not an outdoors kind of person and I was totally creeped out by my own sweat.

My dog, Andy, has a pancreatic infection. It was $500 for the test but if I hadn't done it and found out, he would have died. Yup, high maintenance foo foo dogs, everyone should get at least one.

Hmm, I am going in September...Can I get in on this contest?

Sure, but I have to warn you, it's character bahookie, not wench bahookie, that we're after. I'm there 8/30-9/6, so I guess we have to decide what bahookie we're hunting before I leave. ;)

Glad to hear Andy is on the mend. My dog had pancreatitis twice and was hospitalized both times. She's a purebred as well. I don't know if they have more sensitive stomachs or not, but it's scary when they get that sick.

Are you done laying pavers yet? Sounds like you've been plenty business on that house. Time to take a little vacation I think. ;)

Andy is also my dog with a chronic dry eye so he goes to his opthamologist monthly, he has 6 eye drops a day to take for the rest of his life. Both of my Cresteds have sensitive stomachs and we have had them on bland diets since we've had them and now poor Andy will even have a blander diet.

Nope, not done with pavers yet. We still have about 1.5 pallets to go (78 pavers per pallet). We've finished the patio and the sidewalk but we have to do the firepit patio next. We're waiting to see if it can get any hotter before we start. :rotfl:

I hope someone gets a picture of GP taking a bahookie picture.

:wave2: Hi! I'm home. Thought you'd like to know. If you didn't, sorry, you know anyways.

Glad you're home and hope you had a wonderful time. I don't know about anyone else, but we had the most glorious weather this weekend. High each day around 80, very low humidity and bright sunshiney skies! Hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th!

Highs around 80, must be nice. It's 10:30 at night right now and still 92 outside. :sad2:

Hope you had a good 4th. Ours was fun, its always nice to be at the beach. Only my oldest got to see the fireworks, the others were asleep. We were able to see them in the distance as we drove down the beach. Very enjoyable until we got the drunks who crowded the road. I was scared I was going to hit one of them. They did seem like they were having a good time.

We've been cleaning since we got home. Sand everywhere.

Did you do anything special for the holiday?

Nothing exciting. Did a little shopping -- DD needed new shorts. Had a barbeque at home and watched the Macy's fireworks on TV, then saw our local fireworks last night. An all around quiet, enjoyable weekend, which has come to an end. Back in the office. Can't wait for my vacation -- 3 weeks to go.

Glad you guys had a fun weekend. It was hot here, I know Friday when we did pavers for 14 hours, it was 106 that day. Saturday was 104. By yesterday, I no longer had the energy to care. :rotfl:

We saw no fireworks. PKsMom, I thought of you though as I watched this terrible 80's movie about break dancing. OMG, the clothes on these people. I was dying of laughter because I'd forgotten about some of the styles from that era. I'm so glad the boys were still too young to wear the cut off shirts.

I'm so jealous of all of ya'lls upcoming vacations. Nothing for us until December when we go with the ex-wife and all of the family again. She's planning this one so I'm still not even sure where we are going yet. I am going to Las Vegas at the end of this month but Vegas in July, not sure I'd call that a vacation.
