Where is Judi? Is she okay? Or on vacation? Not looking for details, but just want to make sure I should be sending pixie dust and well wishes her way. Last I knew she was upset about not posting while nekkid. Did she leave 'cause we weren't into that sort of thing? :rotfl: Whereever you are Judi, come on back soon!

Do you all ever wonder if the OP is secretly reading every word here? :lmao:

Hi Peeps.. I'm around having no life of course. Most of my day is trying to keep Anthony out of the cat food, from hiding behind toilets (?!), trying to electrocute himself by pulling plugs out of the walls. he also likes to go under stuff, like chairs which he gets stuck under then I must come rescue him. He's learned how to move the gates.. He's learning to walk.. Heaven help me.

Awwww, they're so cute when they're learning to walk! Good luck!

Hi, everyone!!! I thought I'd check in because I have to pack and I don't want to. This is me stalling.........

Pack!? Where are you going? Or is it for one of the kids going to camp? Do share -- I have no life and nothing else to focus on. :rotfl:

After Joe gets home from work tomorrow, we're going to the beach, Padre Island National Seashore. We're taking both jeeps so I can get some practice off-roading. I think the island is like 60 miles long. It's really nice. It's our favorite place to be as a family, very relaxing. We stay out all day, and as late as we can with the little ones. We used to have a camper with a generator and we would camp on the beach. I miss that! But we'll still stay out all day, Joe built a little pit we can take to cook on, we have tons of sand toys, we still take some water to clean up with. We'll be back some time on Sunday.

It'll be crazy on Monday. First I'll have to pick the dog up from the vet, then DD9 has a doc appt to look at her mole (she wants it removed), then Joe's aunt is coming with our 2 new puppies. What the heck was I thinking!? I guess 5 kids and 1 dog just wasn't enough to keep me busy!

Next Friday, we're going to Schlitterbahn for DD9's birthday. The whole family is coming, so that will be crazy!

I think I'm getting a little too much of a life!! Thanks for letting me stall, I still have the baby's stuff, Joe's and my stuff. Tomorrow I'll pack food, etc.

I remember you mentioning the Jeep being fixed to go to the beach, I just didn't realize it was this weekend. Sounds like a blast!

You're DD is very brave. I've been putting off seeing a dermatologist because I don't want them cutting and burning anything on me. :rotfl: Guess I need to take a lesson in growing up from your 9 year old.

What kind of puppies are you getting? I'm sorry if you've mentioned this all already, but I'm sure some of you (if not all of you) have probably already noticed that I have the attention span of a Labrador (about 6 seconds). It's not that I mean to forget everything, but I've really been thinking I've got the beginning stages of Alzheimers for a few years now. I can remember all the nonsense, useless trivia, but other than that :confused3.

I hadn't mentioned it. In fact, I didn't know until yesterday that it was two. Joe was going to suprise me and the kids with the other one. Anyways, we're getting 2 long-haired mini weiner dogs. One is black (she's Minnie) and the other is either dapple or piebald (he's Rex). We told the kids yesterday and they are SUPER excited. The puppies are only 10 weeks so I'll be potty-training them and the pot-stirrer at the same time. I wonder which one will be easier?

I am tired because I had to get up at 2:30 this morning when one of the dogs (not Paris Hairless but my other little hairless baby Andy) puked on the bed. Yes, on our bed. He woke me up with his whimpering (both dogs sleep under the covers with us) and I thought his eye was hurting so I got him up and put some eye medicine in and put him back in bed. Next thing I know, we have vomit.

Dang high cost foo-foo dogs are so much work. Should have just gotten mutts.

Sorry about Andy! I'll tell DD4 about the maintence, she's been wanting a "fancy" dog.

My money's on the weiner dogs, because dogs don't know about being spiteful, but every child I've met does. :rotfl:

I'd actually never heard of that kind of dog so I googled it. They're beautiful! Congrats and I can't wait to hear all your puppy stories.

Pakey, sorry to hear Andy isn't feeling well. I'm still amazed at how many problems and things you need to be concerned with while raising pure bred dogs, that just don't seem to be an issue with mutts. We learn something new all the time about having a pure bred Lab. My FIL still thinks he can feed it anything he likes and doesn't understand why the dogs gets sick. After all, they had a dog that ate chocolate, bubble gum, steak, hot dogs... you get the idea. His train of thinking is if it's a pure bred it should be better bred than a mutt, thereby able to leap tall buildings in a single bound! :rotfl:

Just poking my nose in.

SCHBR'sMom...I hope ya'll have a great time. And congrats on the puppies.

PK'sMom....I didn't know that Labs only have a 6 second attention span. Wow...that's 3 seconds longer than mine.

Pakey....I hope Andy is better today. :goodvibes

Hi, Smiley! I'm still trying to avoid packing. Just my clothes are left, I better get it done.
