GCV reservation luck

I get to make our GCV reservation in 10 days (7 month mark) and am wondering how lucky people have been in getting their reservation? We are hoping for a 2 bedroom June 13-18. I wonder what villa size fills up the fastest?

If their 2 bedrooms are booked we could get 2 Studios but I love all staying together and love the full kitchen.

I thought there were, but now I'm not sure. I remember there was no issues. We've booked there on points before the Villas, so I might be remembering views from then.

I love having a washer/dryer too. It enables me to pack so much less and with 5 of us, that's like 2 less suitcases. Hope your DS makes it.

I've heard of good success reserving at the 7mo mark, I've done this with non VGC points as well as made ressies w/ing 5 or 6 months. I just tried getting a ressie in Dec and had to go on a waitlist.

Based on where the villas are located in the resort, my understanding is that views would be Pool, DCA Park View, and you may be able to specifically request PPP DCA Park View. I think pretty much any room will be great, only standard views are those facing the park on the lower floors...

Paradise Pier area of DCA. You can practically reach out and touch Mulholland madness from the villas facing that section of DCA.
2 bedroom dedicated means it's a true 2 BR with 2 queen beds in the 2nd room and 1 entrance vs Lock Off which is a studio and 1 BR put together, queen and sofa bed in the 2nd BR

Thanks!!! Wonder what would work better for our party? I kinda like the idea of having the Studio because of the kitchenette. But the 2 true queen beds are nice too. I will ask our friends since they will be the ones in the second room.
