GCV Availability Question

We live close to WDW and that’s where our home resort would be but we are curious about GCV availability at 7 months booking. We are thinking about going one year during the first or second week of March and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of availability either during that time of year at the 7 month booking window? Not next year just one year soon.

We just stayed at GCV this past March 8-15. I was online right at 8am at the 7 month mark and got a 1-bedroom no problem. I think studios you'd have a harder time.

Doesn't really matter the time of year. VGC is tiny. Studios at 7 months are a bit of a unicorn if you have specific dates and insist on a studio. There are only 23, all part of lock-ff 2BR units. There are an additional 23 2BR dedicated units and 2GVs.

The 1BR is the best hope at 7 months, and date flexibility is pretty important.

Ive been lucky to get a studio a couple times - early May, late September. Luck ran out - I wanted Oct 14 to 19 (Sunday to Thursday nights) this year. Thursday sold out long before 7 months. I figured I’d try for Sunday to Wednesday and waitlist Thursday. Then about a month before 7 months, Monday sold out. So, I waitlisted the entire 5 nights. I have little hope, I have a cash reservation at PPH. I have a reservation at an airport hotel for Friday night (8:00am flight) but i also waitlisted it separate.
