We are debating a last minute trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, but are still stressing about a hotel. We absolutely love GCH, but DS (12) and DD (11) will not share a bed, and are too big for the bunks. We are trying to decide between PPH with 2 queens and a daybed, or making the kids take turns sleeping on the floor (ick) at GCH.

Awhile back, we were discussing the sleeping bags. I remember that DizMe had a very favorable review, but no one had any pictures to share, so I thought I would try again. :goodvibes

Sorry I don't have any pictures, but when we stayed there with our niece and nephew about 7 years ago (ages 9 and 10 then) we got sleeping bags for them. If I recall correctly they were kid sized, rectangular, and green. Not sue if this helps.

I got my DD5 a Coleman sleeping bag last year for Christmas. Wait...SANTA got her a sleeping bag, not me. Shh. Don't tell her I goofed.

Anyway, we really like it. It's warm enough to be comfy but not too hot. It's just the perfect size for her to grow into.

I think the OP was meaning the sleeping bags that you can get instead of a rollaway at GCH.

You know that you can get a room with two queens and a daybed at GCH, right? There are a few - we stayed in one last time we were there. My son, who was way too tall for the daybed, just moved the mattress onto the floor and slept on it there - we didn't get a sleeping bag though as he just used blankets.

I don't have photos but we have stayed numerous times at the GCH and my son and his friend don't share a bed. The sleeping bags are normal camping style and they bring camp pad (think thermarest) with them. Whoever was sleeping on the floor usually made a little bed of both thermarests and the extra sleeping bag and then they switched off. The boys said they were comfortable.

Thanks for all the replies. We've decided not to risk the sleeping bags, and are headed to the Paradise Pier! We are super excited!
