GCH reservation requests

I just reserved a room at the GCH for December. I got a theme park view. Is there anything else I need to request as far as the room goes (room number or tower or anything)? The GCH thread is super long to read through. Thanks so much!

Upon check in you can specify a room request, but its not guaranteed.

I still have to have my IDEAL room... I've been close (across the hall), but I want a room over Napa Rose (preferably higher up) facing into DCA. I've had pretty much every view BUT parking lot, and that room view is what I really desire every tiem.

I have no preference for exits. I'm a light sleeper so not near an elevator would be great. The view...that's most important to me. This will be our last visit to DL (and to anywhere Disney for all we know) for quite some time as we are military and leaving the west coast soon. We grew up in Anaheim and lived in OC for over 30 years. I've had APs since I was 8. I'm 40 now. Hubby got orders to Vegas...DL is still accessible. Now, by spring of next year...we have no idea where we will end up. I'm going all out for this trip. I want a beautiful theme park view. Seeing WOC would be nice. I will cry my eyes out the day we leave.

Last year we had a theme park view that overlooked Paradise Pier and it was wonderful although a bit of a long walk to and from the parks. This year I called and wanted to request the same room but I can't remember the room number and apparently they don't keep a history of what room number we stayed in. We could see a partial view of WOC but it was fun to listen to it each night and see the pier all lit up.

I'm sorta hoping for a view of Grizzly River but I'm not complaining either way.

Can you do the same thing at the DLH? Can you "request" a tower prior to arrival? One with a cool night view would be nice

Request to be on the 5th floor near the Napa Rose elevators. This area has a great view of Grizzly Peak and the sunrise, with convenient access to the DCA entrance.
