I just checked prices for the GCH next Spring and it came up only 4 guests per room. Used to be 5. Has it changed? From the web site :

CHILDREN POLICY

Kids under 18 Stay Free. The maximum occupancy is 4 guests per room

Question. So are kids considered guests if under 18? What if you have 2 Adults and 3 kids under 18?

The website for rooms thru Dec 2019 still say 5 adults per room

It was my understanding that prices were only available up until the end of 2019. Is this DVC?

We’ve gone for Dapper Day a couple of times with 5 in our room. You can call and add the 5th person onto your room.
PPH will let you book for 5. DLH & GCH will let you book for 4 people, but you can call the hotel and add a 5th person.

That's my experience as well. And they encourage you to add the 5th person so they can try and assign a daybed room. It's a little quirky in the convention/group booking.

And, wow, after reading the OP I checked the Spring DD rates out of curiosity. Looks like they are up about $100/night over the Fall DD at GCH. Bummer.

Ouch.

My thoughts were a little more than Ouch. For Dapper Day in 2016 we paid $257 for a Standard room at GCH and about $ 457 for Concierge[/QUOTE]
Yeah, prices have gone up so much and I believe they will continue to do so for a while. Our first Deluxe annual passes were in 2012 or 2013...they were $380! A 3 day parkhopper with MaxPass is $400 now!!! It’s so crazy. We stayed at Paradise Pier Hotel in 2012 and I think it was $180/night! Prices are going to keep rising until they see a drop off in attendance. Just my opinion.

Maybe it's not official but it would make sense to limit it to 4 total guests per room, they seem fairly cramped from pictures.

I remember our pass costing $380!! It's crazy how much more everything costs.

I know, prices have really skyrocketed and will continue upward, like you said. I started taking the family in 2000, when my Grandson turned 3. That`s his picture in my Avatar. We used to go every year for 5 years , then as the family got bigger and the prices increased, went every 2 years. With the size of our family we need two rooms. I used to get a Senior discount of about 25% off on rooms for the GCH but they stop offering it. Last trip was 2016.
