Are there any major differences between a GC studio villa and a standard room at the DLH or GC,other than a bar sink, microwave and deck? TIA
Some pictures of the grillsI like the idea of being able to BBQ a meal or two.I get sick of eating out all the time.Has anyone used the grills at GC?
Also, no daily mousekeeping. Trash and towel service is on day 4 and full cleaning on day 8.
No daily Mousekeeping? Nuts to that! Having my made bed and clean towels is half the fun at staying at hotel for me
Villa gust got a whole less desirable in my book!
Thanks for the links.I have read those threads and got a lot of good info.
However, what I really want to know is would you choose the studio villa over a standard room for any reason other than the microwave, toaster etc. What makes the GCV(studio) so special, other than exclusivity.![]()

I would stay any day of the week in a studio, just much nicer imho.

This is true, no parking fees when staying in the villas on points. There are no taxes or ATID assessment eitherI have read that there is no daily parking fee at the self park lot if staying in the villas (on a points reservation) compared to a $15 a day fee for the hotel.

Anaheim Tourism Improvement District. A 2% tax to benefit hotels within the tourist district. This is in addition to a 15% tax, for the Anaheim general fund....But what is ATID![]()
Sorry, I assumed on points (rented or otherwise) since I have heard of very minimal success for renting directly from Disney. It is a sold out DVC with only 48 units...
