GC Rates/disc. codes

Does anyone know where/how/if possible to get a good rate for GC later this month. We have only been to disneyland once before, and it was a while ago, so sorry if I sound like a rookie We will have 2 or 3 adults and will take rates for standard or concierge and any views- its not super-important for us- whatever you can suggest. We have WDW AP's and the new Disney credit card if that may help... Thanks!

My only advice is to check out mousesavers.com

Your WDW is useless at DLR, unfortunetly. The Visa may or may not help, you can check out the Disney Bank One for information on any possible discounts.

We are going the first weekend in May and have So Cal passes.

For the Grand California I was quoted $159 standard weeknight $199 weekend, $288 theme park view and I think $401 concierge.

Good discounts are harder to come by at DL than at WDW. If you have AAA, you could ask about a discount for that, thought it'll probably be minimal. Also, since you're visiting within the month, check Travelocity and Expedia. Sometimes they have good "last minute" deals, though they're usually better at DLH and PP. Doesn't hurt to check though! (Unfortunately, in terms of discounts, GC seems to be the most popular, which means they don't offer as many discounts!)

How much later in this month do you plan n traveling?

Mousesavers,com is probably your best bet.

If you are really on a budget, I will let you know that unlike WDW it is not terribly important to stay on site (except if you want theming). There are many nice hotels in easy walking distance of DLR.

Unlike WDW, you can get a good deal on the packages thru DL travel. I had quotes from several places, DL Travel, AAA, DL Resv...with the best deal being DL Travel. The only draw back was the payment in advance..
