We just returned on Monday, having spent 3 nights at Hojos and one at the Grand Californian.
There are 2 pools at the GC. Between them is a wading pool for little ones and a hot tub, which is slightly off to the side. Then there is a second hot tub to the side of the slide pool (near the small kiddie slide)
Although we were there in mid July, on a weekend, the pool didn't seem overly crowded. yes, there were people there, but it wasn't packed. And I was told the hotel was pretty much full. We were able to walk up and get chairs, as someone was leaving.
It's a nice pool to relax around. There is bar and food service from Whitewater Snacks from mid day, on (I don't know how late). However, dh just went and got a beer, so he didn't have to wait.
If you are going to be there a couple of days, I think it's worth stopping at the store and picking up some beers and sodas in cans, and carrying a soft sided cooler. A single beer, with tax, is about $4. We did this at the DL hotel and nobody blinked an eye. We saw a few people doing this (it's okay as long as you don't have glass)
