Stayed at the Gaylord Palms last November....the place is wonderful!!! They were just begining to put up the Christmas decorations and were going to be opening an ice sculpture display.
I think I probably ate at most of the resturants and do remember the food being good but definately on the expensive end. Also had a sandwich from the bakery/grab'n'go place and it was about $6.00 and marginal at best.
I have also stayed at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville.....very similar.
The one thing I always had problems with was losing my sense of direction and ending up going in circles trying to find my way back to my room (that was both before and after cocktails
