Can anyone tell me about this...Like how far from Disney would the cab ride be to get there? Is it worth the 20 bucks? Im thinking of surprising the kids for New Years Eve, but Im guessing it would be pretty crowded?? If anyone knows anything about this place I would really appreciate some info. thanks!

Worth every penny. It is pretty close, just on the other side of I-4. But I imagine that it would be extremely crowded on that day and probably not worth it then. You would need the tickets beforehand. If you go, I would go on a weekday not a holiday or weekend. You can check it out on their website.

We did Ice last year and really enjoyed it. Be prepared though it is sooo cold in there. I wished I had a hat and mittens so I could stay in there longer. Once you leave, you can't go back in.
It really is so amazing but it's not something I need to see every visit.
Not sure about the taxi from WDW. We did it while having some time to kill, staying at the Hyatt MCO for 1 nt pre cruise, so we rented a car.

thanks guys...I was thinking new years eve for that something "special" to do, but we're only there from the 31st to the 5th and it stops on the 3rd. so its either the 31st or the 1st which is a friday or the weekend. So maybe the 1st?

I am taking our chances and we are going Christmas Day. I already got our tickets. I wanted to do something special for Christamas Day since we won't be going to a park and we are going Resort hopping on the 24th.

it is down Osecola Parkway from Pop Century & wide world of sports?

have not done it yet - but definitely thinking about it

definitely take a taxi - Gaylord charges for parking. So the taxi might be cheaper.

Parking is $12. + tax and they are suppose to give a $1.00 coupon for it at check-in.
