Gay Professional Athletes

I was just wondering if anyone knew of any gay professional atheletes in the "big 3" (NFL, MLB, NBA) I know that no one has publically came out saying they were gay during there career, but I was just wondering if anyone has heard a rumor or just thinks someone is. I know for a fact from my ex-girlfriend's cousin who is a MLB player, that he was gay, but no where near open (no I am not telling who). Just curious.
