Keep in mind, I'm not saying that I have anything against these people (often they are nice), but I am completely against their beliefs.

How is an attraction towards someone a belief?
Last time I checked when I'm attracted to someone it's not a belief.

It's a belief that gayness is moral.

Oh so it's immoral because it doesn't look good? Because it's two guys or two girls?

See, I can deal with homophobes who believe things for religious reasons, but if it's just because someone thinks it's gross and nasty, I can't deal.
It infuriates me beyond belief.

It's not like they have a choice. They didn't just wake up one morning and say, "hmm, I'm really tired of being straight. Why don't I be gay now and start liking other girls instead?" And even if it was a choice, which I fully believe it isn't, we in the US cannot discriminate against choices. There is a choice of religion and laws protect discrimination against religion, so sexuality, whether it is a choice or not, should have laws to protect it just like religion and people with different religions deserve equal treatment, so why shouldn't people with different sexual preferences?

I agree, but I believe that it is immoral and completely wrong. I would oppose it EVEN WITHOUT MY RELIGION, which also opposes it. I do give these people respect as they deserve, not spitting at their shoes, but I am against it. If you have a problem, stop responding to my posts.

I think people who can't accept Gays and Lesbians for who they are and NOT tell them what they're doing is wrong, are close-minded, offensive, biased, ignorant whack-a-doodles.

There is no reason why religion effects being in love. I say if you love someone, you love someone. Who's to tell me it's right or wrong? The Church, yeah well I don't believe a thing they say anymore. After all, wasn't it the Pope who announced this year that 'Pollution was a moral sin', yet he's still riding around in his enviornment-harming Popemobile?
