Gay Days in June??

Just wondering if they're are any gay days at WDW in June? We'll be there with our family from Kansas and it will be they're first time and we'd rather not be there on a gay day. We're they're from the 17-26 of June. Thanks

I believe the first week of June was when some of the activities are scheduled. June 6 sticks in my head as MK day...

If you do a google search for gay day at Disney World you'll find a whole website devoted to the topic. I checked it once before and think it's the beginning of June. But check to be sure.

First week of June. MK day is the 5th (Sat). Not a big deal. Except for bigger crowds at MK on Sat (a busy day anyway). Nothing to be concerned about, really. If you are homophobic you might want to skip PI that weekend, I guess.

We planned our trip to WDW last year without knowing about "gay days". We were there the last week of May, first week of June. (gay days festivities peak on the first Saturday in June). We noticed more same-sex groups towards the end of the week, but for the most part I feel the attendees were very discrete out in public. The girls did notice more men eating meals together as the week progressed, at which time we explained why and that was about it.

You should be "safe" at the time you are going.

(mainly that have very young kids -under 3) are actually going on "Gay Days" as the 'family' crowds are down and most of the coordinated activities are usually in one area/park each day.
