Gatwick to Tampa?

Anyone flown this route? I will be booking for next Easter soon and want a range of possiblities for routings. Anyone with any experience of this?

I've flown into Tampa, although it was a connecting service. It's a relatively quiet airport but it's a pretty good place to go in to.

I've travelled Gatwick to Tampa several times. Twice with BA (direct), Delta (via Atlanta) and US Airways (think it was via Charlotte).

BA was more convenient - less hassle switching planes, but I enjoyed Delta the most.

We're doing this route in Oct, but looks like Jo will be trying it out sooner.

I always choose this route as I think the airport at Tampa is better, it' s quicker to get your car and the drive to Orlando is fine just straight doWn the I-4 and sometimes the fares are better too which can't be bad!

I'd agree the fares on this route come in a little cheaper than LGW to MCO so it's always worth doing a comparison.
