Gatwick Hotel and Parking

I have stayed at Soffitel but never at the Hilton - which one is the best?

Also the Hilton appears to only have 3 single beds if you go for a triple room, is that right?

Have stayed at Hilton 3 times & done twilight check in with Virgin.
Always found the hotel to be clean & obviously you can walk to the terminal which is great.
The parking is at the LGW summer special which is a short(ish) drive & I normally send my husband - especially on our return when the bus is packed and I can't be bothered carting all the cases about.
we normally hace 2 doubles so don't know about a triple - sorry.

Haven't stayed at the Hilton, but have stayed at the Sofitel three times (most recently on 3rd October) and really liked it.

How many weeks are you away? If you are away for two weeks, then the hotel/parking packages are good. If you are away longer, then try pricing the hotel and parking seperately (through holidayextras.com). We went for 18 nights and it worked out cheaper to book seperately than to book the package and pay for the extra nights parking...

We found the Hilton ghastly - dirty and uncomfortable - but we like the Sofitel.

I agree, the Sofitel is the best choice out of the two.
Some friends of mine stayed there earlier this year and really liked it.

I stayed at a little place called Little Foxes, it was really close to Gatwick, cheap and they only charged for for 2 weeks parking even though we arrived 13th and left on 29th.
