Gatwick airport hotel + parking???

Hi, can anyone recommend us an airport hotel and parking , we have previously stayed at the hilton but is looking too expensive for this trip we don't really want to spend more than £150 for a family room + 15 nights parking inc. Has anyone stayed at any of the offsite hotels recently???

Hi Claire, the only price i can find for our dates is £209 for a queen room with 15 days parking, but we need a room for 3 adults and 1 child, shame because i would love to be onsite again!!

Haven't stayed at Gatwick recently, but have heard a lot of positive reports about the Gatwick Holiday Inn. We have stayed at the Rennaissance a few times a few years ago and really liked it, but have heard that it has gone hugely down hill recently...

We are thinking about using this hotel for a change. £155 for a family room including 15 days parking. They have a swimming pool, gym, sauna, steam room, spa bath, hairdressing salon, solarium, beautician and a aerobic studio.

We always like to get there about 4pm, have a swim, then go out for some dinner.

We always stay at www.lowfieldfarm.co.uk

5 minutes out, with complimentary transport to and from the airport. for an overnight stay in a family room, plus 3 weeks parking it cost us less than £90 for 3 of us.breakfast is included to. VERY clean(non smoking).
Ive stayed here countless times and will be doing so again in 4 weeks time. Mike and his wife are Ex Virgin cabin crew and staff!

hi i have booked a guest house called the corner house, web site is thecornerhouse.co.uk its £99 for a family room 4 people + £27 a week parking includes transfers to the airport + breakfast,rooms look nice and they can provide a z-bed for extra people in your room,other rooms are available ie single double triples

Hi we stayed at the Post House last year and used Maple Manors meet and greet service which worked out about £80 for hotel and £80 for parking. Maple Manor give a great service and it's better than using the courier bus from the hotel. There's 5 of us so staying at the Hilton was to expensive as we would need 2 rooms.

We stayed at the Gatwick copthorne hotel last 2 trips, last one cost £112 for 2 adults 1 child with 2 weeks parking, we are going for 3 weeks & 3rd week is charged when you return but last time we went for 4 weeks & they didnt charge us any extra!!
Heres hoping they do that again

With pre-trip hotel/parking it is often worth pricing the hotel and parking individually... pricing one night in the hotel + 3 weeks parking CAN be only slightly more than booking the "hotel and 15 days parking" package. The package is ok if they omit to charge you for the extra week's parking, but could work out substantially more if they charge you the "going rate" for the extra parking...

For example, for two adults:
- sofitel with 15 days parking package is about £149
- sofitel room only (£99) and 3 weeks parking (£60) is only £160.

If I got charged for the extra week's parking, I guess that I would be looking at at least £50odd....
