Gators!

Gators are all over Florida. They're not going to bother you. The only time its really more dangerous is if people have been feeding it. I live in Florida and run in the park and see gators all the time. They stay away from humans. I fish too and gators are all over. They're not interested in humans. Now, a small dog, that's another thing

I am more surprised that people think there are no gators at WDW, than seeing a gator at WDW.

We have seen one every trip.

I'm surprised, too. We enjoyed seeing how many gators we could spot while taking Disney transportation between parks and resorts. Kept the kids entertained on the bus/monorail rides if they had to keep their eyes peeled.

For anybody whose children enjoy seeing alligators, Gatorland and/or an airboat ride with Spirit of the Swamp were both fun non-Disney options that I think other DVC-ers might enjoy as "something different".
