Thank you for sharing the updates. I hope they are able to recover the child. My heart is with this family.

Certainly not a good thing to be doing but again it doesn't seem like someplace youd expect a gator to stroll up to to be honest.

100% incorrect. Walt Disney world is a swamp. It was chartered with the state with wildlife preserve provisions.

To think that they can control the vast area and animal populations on this type of scale is foolish.

I have to defend Disney here - the media line of questioning is silly. They do a damn good job of keeping wildlife in its place there. But it was never going to be failure proof.

And if theyre local...shame on them. They know better. It's an ecosystem and that doesn't need to be apologized for...

The Local news is saying that the SOUNDS of small children and dogs attract gators, I take the word of local news in Orlando.

The press conference questions show how the media can add things to a story. Questions like what is the name of the lake? How long is the family there? When did they check in? Is the trip an annual event?

Is that really necessary?

Sounds like they are just trying to get facts for their reports. Although not sure why it being an annual event or not would matter. Name of the lake where it took place, yes, that's an important piece of info to include.

They have nothing else to ask.

The reality is that a child has been missing too long...he went into the deeper part of the water with the animal by witness accounts. And he is not old enough to defend himself or escape to shore.

And the search is damn near impossible at night.

There's really nothing else to say/ask.
