Pros ~

Grand is in Bonnet Creek and practically on property. Part of the Bonnet Creek resort so great amenities. Close to Disney Springs.

Flamingo Crossing hotels are just outside property on land once owned by Disney. A couple hotels are fairly new and others brand new. Marriott or Hilton if you are a frequent traveler with either. Some have meals included. Close to dining on 192. Quieter less tourist area.

Cons ~

Being Gateway gives no Disney perks. It means they are AAA approved, sell tickets on site and offer transportation. The number of trips is very limited and often there is a fee and reservations needed. Also verify where you will be dropped off, do they go to every park or must you transfer at Epcot or TTC?

Here is a sample of FC Marriot transportation info ...

I've looked at the map and is there any fast food next to Flamingo Crossing?

At moment you drive down to 192 (3.5 miles).

But once the Flamingo Crossing Town Center (walkable) opens there will be, I've heard Wendy's, Dominos, BBQ, Firehouse, Pieology, Japanese, Brewery, Target, Walgreens, Five Guys, Ben & Jerrys, Dunkin Donuts, PDQ, Five Below ... I believe was to be 2021 but not sure status with covid. So depends on when you will travel.

You can go up 429 a few miles (~13) and there are some. We avoid 192 due to the amount of traffic. I live just north of here and on our way to/from WDW property, will stop in this area for a quick bite.
