Gate to Pirates ride walk time?

I'm going on a Tues MVMCP and looking at starting with POTC by 4:30pm (end of my FP window). The train will be down when I'm there, can anyone give me an idea of the kind of walk time I'm looking at for average pace walking front gate to POTC? I've only been to DL and I know MK is much larger so any help appreciated!

Maybe 10 minutes? It's not that far. You are going to be doing a LOT of walking at Disney World (we did just as much at DL, though). The train wouldn't really take you to POTC anyway - it stops in Frontierland at Magic Kingdom.

Relax. You'll make your FP+ window in plenty of time walking at a moderate pace. The gates to the party sometimes open at 345pm.

To answer your specific question, 15 minute tops for a walk to POTC from the front gate. Probably less. But's that's without dilly-dallying along Main Street.

Taking the train would take way longer than walking will.

5 min. Cut through stores on the left, stay to the left pathway, you'll be there in no time.

Train won't be any concern to you. You'll walk underneath it when entering, and won't want to ride it to get to POTC. It drops off next to splash mountain.

Thanks for tips! And good to know train won't make any difference anyhow, I just assumed from my Disneyland trips- I'll have to get that Disneyland park map out of my head before I go to the MK lol!
