Gate Opening

Hi everyone!
Does anyone who has been in the parks recently, what time do the open the gates and let you into Main Street? It seems like some days they let you in with lots of time to get a snack or shop a little before rope drop. Other times it seems like its only 15 minutes before rope drop. And hou dont hardly have gime to grab a coffee. So the true question i guess is, is there a set time? Or is it just random?

In my experience, it’s usually about 15-20 minutes prior to rope drop. I go primarily on Sundays so my times may not be typical. However, I can’t recall a time in recent memory when more than 20 minutes prior to RD was provided

In my experience in the last year, DL let's you in about 15 minutes early. DCA is the side that let's you in 30 minutes early, and you have time to eat and browse before rope drop. I did rope drop once at DL when they let us in 30 minutes early, but that was back in December 2017.

That's kind of what I remember too. I think it was years ago when rope drop was back on main street they might have given us half an hour. Maybe.
