I did this in October. I went for MM and NO ONE was in this line since there's a tree there so I leaned against the little gate thingy around the tree until they opened then quickly hopped in there since no one was standing there )

No, even if there's been a line at the security tables, they will still avoid the lines that seem to be hidden. They will follow the leader and avoid being first in line.

Well that is really good to know! I am going to be trying it on my trip!

Hi everyone,

I have been lurking back on the boards since late December, as we are planning a trip at the end of this month. But I had yet to log in again and post any comments.

Yesterday I saw this post on Page 1 and it was very "out of body" to see a post I had started way back during our last trip's planning (May 2008). It's very weird to read your own question and then later, the tips from your own trip!

Thanks for the nice welcome back! This time we are going for longer and staying on site at GCH (for the first time!) so we are going to take it easy and not go-go-go so much. The likelyhood that we will be stalking gates at opening is small. Maybe on the days the park opens at 10 w/o early entry...
