I think I asked this a while ago, but I don't remember exactly what the replies were. My husband had gastric bypass 6 months ago. Of course he doesn't eat very much ( unlike me :teeth: ) so I really don't know how to go about ordering from the menu. We will be going down in two weeks :cool1: . Has anybody been through this already at WDW? I would love to know how you handled it. We will be staying at Pop Century and will probably need a fridge for his leftovers and all the little meals he does in between. Would this be considered a medical reason? Thanks for any replies I can get! You guys are the best! :cheer2:

I've read in a thread somewheres that they bring a letter from their docs stating the condition. Sometimes the server will honor it and let them order from kids menu or charge kids prices for buffet, but sometimes not.
Just depends on the servers I guess.

I spose if noone could really answer on this board, you could call the resort about 5 days prior and ask the manager of the resort. They would probably be able to give you a definite answer.

Good luck on your hubby's recovery...
and have fun on your trip! :wave2:

I would suggest you go over to the "disABILITIES" forum. This subject has often been raised and discussed there. Also, it generally has a lot less activity than this forum and it is easier to find things.
