On our trip last year we were lucky enough to get to try Gaston's and Be Our Guest and at that time both places baked goods were all nut safe. Has anyone visited since to know if that is still true? They were using a specific bakery and it looks as though both still have similar baked goods. It's so nice to actually ave dessert choices :). Thanks!

Glad to know you had a good experience. We'll be there in December and we hope this info is still true. It'll be our first time at BOG an Gaston's.

We had dinner at BOG the end of July and the desserts were all safe for peanut and tree nut allergies. We didn't try Gastons. The chef explained that they have a really big kitchen, so can bake their own pastries, unlike most of the other restaurants that get things from central kitchens and outside vendors. The only thing my kids couldn't have were the sprinkles that come on some of the cupcakes, because those come from an outside vendor. There aren't any nuts in the sprinkles, but the chef didn't want to take any chances, since he had no control over their production. A supply of unsprinkled cupcakes is kept in the kitchen for allergy guests. It took a few extra minutes to get the desserts, but well-worth the wait. My kids were thrilled to finally be able to eat regular cupcakes at WDW.

I wonder if the sprinkles are why the online menus for most of the BOG desserts now list nut allergy??? I hope nothing has changed because I'm really looking forward to at least 1 decent dessert and it seems to be all the ones with the little pearls and sprinkles....

This was our experience last month also.
