Gaston at Disneyland?

Are Disneyland guests to be graced with his presence permanently or just during the upcoming Halloween season?

I just watched two videos of him wandering Fantasyland at Disneyland and can't find any information regarding his appearance. Is this is a new thing? Has he ever been to Disneyland before? Will he be doing regular meet-and-greets? Anyone have any information for this curious Disser? I've seen him at Disney World and thought he was hilarious! It'd be nice if he decided to spend some time at Disneyland too.

There are about 10 pictures on Twitter of him around the castle on the 24th and 25th. He looks like a roaming character, in one it looks like he's walking through PFF. I think he could be a funny edition to Belle's PFF show.

I bet he'll be around more with the live action Beauty and the Beast coming out! I'd LOVE to meet Gaston!

He's definitely there. No confirmation on if it's just for Halloween or a more permanent basis, but I have seen the videos and it's definitely not mislabeled. I'm hoping he sticks around with the live action Beauty and the Beast coming up and the current Beauty and the Beast anniversary. Seriously one of the best character interactions you can get in a Disney park. He's just so full of himself.

I saw him yesterday. He was walking the path near where the live action storytelling and princess meet and greets are and running his mouth.

I saw him on Tuesday afternoon. He was meeting people in the queue that Flynn and Repunzel use in the mornings before their shows right outside the Royal Hall where 3 princesses meet all day long. We didn't stick around to meet him though as it was busy and we've met him in WDW.

The Disney Store is full of Beauty and the Beast merchandise right now for the 25th anniversary. I've seen rumors that he will probably stick around past Halloween as the 25th anniversary of the official movie release date is November 22, 2016.

I was at Disneyland last week and say Gaston walking through the park a couple of times. I didn't follow to see where he was going. I have to say it was weird to be walking around and have characters just walk past. It seems much more casual than at WDW. And the guests are so well behaved about it. I couldn't help but think that if it were WDW people would be grabbing them to try to stop them for pictures or mobbing them.

We saw him wandering around Fantasyland and walking towards Matterhorn area this past Sunday. I didn't see him actually stop anywhere in particular he was just roaming and if people asked him for a picture he would stop and say of course I'm perfect lol. We didn't realize who he was until someone said oh Gaston!! It was fun to watch him interact with people we had some great laughs. He was perfectly in character.
