Gasp-- I'm Officially DCL Crazy!

Well, I can't believe it but I just ordered myself a pirate costume for pirate night!! I've never even gone to a costume party before-- I avoid them like the plague!

I should have known I was in trouble when my normal, laid back DH had me order him and DS4-1/2 matching Captain Hook costumes during the Disney Store's major costume sale. Then I realized DD3 will be most upset if she weren't dressing up with them, so we got her a "petite pirate costume" (way cute with a flounced skirt, etc., I might add! ). Well, it just so happens I saw a "tavern wench" costume that seemed appropriate and it was in my size.

Just a word of warning for those who will be on board with us... This could get ugly!

Good for you! I'm not so brave and plan on being among the bystanders looking at all of the "pirates and wenches" having a great time.

I'm sure that you're going to treasure the pictures you take in your costumes.

You will have such a ball! My family and our friends dressed up as pirates on our Nov 6th cruise! I think we were the only ones on board that did besides the crew. Anyways, we had a quick drink before we left the cabins and that seemed to help. We had more people stop us and comment on how they wish they'd known and they would have dressed up too. Most of my pictures from Shutters were us dressed as pirates. Great memories! Have FUN!

HA! Someone of my own spirit!

I will be watching for your family! I will be on that cruise as well! I purchased a mickey pirate ears headband from Magic Kingdom last month. I also have a parrot for my shoulder! Watch for a group of 14 with two women with the mickey pirate headbands! (my sister and I) Never fear, I'm sure there will be others willing to play along too.
