Gas Prices!!??!!

WOW!!!!!! Ran into town to get youngest DS medicine and saw that gas prices here have gone up to $1.65!!!! Guess the "Code Orange Alert" possibly caused this.

Our prices jumped earlier this week, prior to the Orange alert. I think that the oil companies are just a bit jittery about the possibility of war. And the continuing strike in Venezuela isn't helping matters either.

Our gas prices are lower than yours, but Monday the local Exxon had $1.42. By Tuesday evening it was $1.44. And by Thursday it was $1.49.

Who knows what I'll find tonight!

They had a news report here & some trucking agent said he wouldn't be surprised if they saw $2.00/gal by summer. Maybe this will make more people fly. We were going to drive to Alberta in March to visit family but now we're thinking it might not be much more to fly. We were going to see Mt. Rushmore on the way though. Maybe we'll catch it on another trip.

I believe Atlanta has one of the lowest prices for gas in the US. I just paid 1.44 a gallon for 87 octane. Very high.

Philly.....I just paid $1.61 ...YIKES>...this is the most a fill up has ever cost for my car $30.51....glad I don't own a Yukon XL like all my friends...

Northern Wisconsin gas prices jumped from $1.64 yesterday to $1.73 a gallon today.

The price of gas going up a little at a time wouldn't bother me, but when it jumps 15 cents or more is a different story ..then of course there is the sign that says 33 cents of each gallon is some kinda stupid tax

also a Toyota Corolla. Guess which I will be driving more?
One gets 35 mpg and one gets 15-17.
I drive 30 miles to and from work everyday so keeping the Toyota is definitely paying off.

ours rose earlier in the week. it went from 1.51 to 1.83!

Just had on the news tonight that the price of crude oil is going up so that gas prices are going to hit a high not seen in years. Also said that home heating oil increase over last winter about 50%.

Yesterday we bought it for $1.43 and today at the same station it was $1.57. Glad I bought my airline tickets for our summer trip to FLorida earlier.
