Gas prices! what are you paying?

How much are you paying for gasoline and where are you?
AAA says average prices are $1.85. We've got $1.81 here
at most stations in Columbus, Ohio.

$170 ish here. But I found a new gas station that opened up a couple of weeks ago. Never heard of the name before - SPEED. But the price is $1.59, for now anyway. I paid $2.25 a couple of weeks ago in San Fransisco!!!

Just last night I paid $1.69 a gallon at Getty. Are you ready for this, when I bought my first car I was 18, I paid 25 cents a gallon, Holy Moly, Ialways used to laugh when my father started comparing prices, he is 86 yrs old but now I find myself doing it, looks like I am aging but gracefully I might add,

I paid $1.83 yesterday! And I had to wait in line to get it. It felt like the '70s all over again!

I remember when I was a kid, my Mom would go to the gas station and get a dolar's worth of gas--They would have to measure with an eyedropper to do that today!

I'm in Southern Illinois, right across the river from St. Louis, MO. We're paying $1.79 here. All the talking heads say that it is going to average about $5.00 a gallon during summer travel time. I sure hope that's just Chicken Little talking!

A little off subject, milk prices seem to be on the rise here too.

I paid $1.89 for mid-grade. I usually get premium but I couldn't bring myself to pay over $2.00 a gallon. When I first started driving gas was .35 a gallon, ouch!!

The sad thing is, I just turned in my cute Toyota Corolla for a 4Runner (I work for Toyota). It used to cost me about $17 to fill up yesterday it was $34.00!!!! OUCH!
