Gas Prices at WDW

We were very shocked to see that the LOWEST gas prices we saw in Florida were actually at the Hess stations on WDW property!!! They were a good 8 cents less then the gas station across the street from our off site hotel. They were only 2 cents higher then the station we stopped at in Valdosta before we crossed the state line.

The Hess station across from DTD is always about the same as the stations away from the tourist areas. Those nearest I-4 and at The Crossroads are always very high.

We noticed that last weekend!! Don't quite know what's up with that, cause historically Disney gas has been waaaay overpriced, but as often as we go to the parks, we're sure not complaining!

I noticed that the last time I was there too (march). The way I figure it, if Disney wants people to buy gas there, it better be somewhat reasonable. Most people aren't driving around Disney all the time and thus would only want gas when they are leaving on their trip home. If they saw how high the prices coming in were and that Disney is reasonable, they'll stop there! Viola, more business for Disney!

In the past it's been incredibly high and I'm sure most just passed it by to get gas on their way out. This was the first time I actually saw people at the pumps!

When we were there in March they were doing brisk business. They also have a fantastic price on those huge sodas...we needed one after Blizzard Beach.

Yep!! Since Hess came in, prices have been great, 1-2 cents lower than in east Orlando. We always fill up here.
