Gas Price Report

All,
I thought this would be helpful for any of you driving down the east coast to Disney this week. We were there last week, and found $2.43 for regular between Brunswick GA and Kingland, GA. When we entered into FL it, as typical shot up to around $3.

I thought I would pass this along if anyone is traveling down this week.

There is a website called GasBuddy.com that I always refer to before heading out on a long trip. On the main page if you select Gas Price Temperature Maps at the top, it shows a map of the USA with colors by county to show price ranges. The area you mentioned, along with a similar area just before entering FL from GA via I-75, near Valdosta are usually about the same price, and a great place to fill up before hitting the higher prices in FL. I usually plan where I am going to make my gas stops before leaving home using this website. including where the best places are around the WDW area.

FL has higher gas taxes than GA. I would recommend you fill up before you cross the border.

al use to be reasonable - right now still at $3.09 for regular - at least we were this morning.

Know what you mean re those higher gas taxes
here in NY on weekend $3.33; cross into NJ they are at $2.91.

We're finally under $3.00 here in CT, but it's $.25-30 cheaper for me to go over the border into MA...so that's where I go!

Thanks for the info on gas on the route to WDW. We'll be driving in December and I'm hoping not to pay more than an average of $2.75 per gallon.

Gas in NJ today I saw $2.75.

When I drove down (end of Sept) there were still gas shortages around Atlanta, so GA was more than FL. (Weird seing stations closed)
By the time I drove back, they at least had gas. Sounds like it has dropped quite a bit.

We're just outside Phila, and gas is going for 2.84.

I did hear on the Today show this morning, that OPEC was raising the price of oil again...forgot why though.

I filled up for $2.59 in Mass. (Manchester-by-the Sea)

I go through there every day for work so I try to fill up during the week. Every where else is around $2.69-$2.71.

I hope the prices continue to fall for our trip in Feb. We will be driving to WDW and could save a lot of $$$. We usually go in April and it never fails....gas slowly creeps up just in time for our April road trip. Hopefully we will get lucky in Feb.
