We live in upstate NY on the PA border. Anybody done it lately? I believe we will be taking my Mom's new mustang. We aren't going until November, but I am very obsessive about budget planning and gas is about the only thing I can't figure out.

Thanks

We just made the trip. Your about 1240 miles depending on how you go. Gas prices change so fast that the old standby gas price sites are behind, since we use diesal, i went to several truck stop sites and can get prices good for today. One that sells gas is Flying J (www.flyingj.com) and they will give you a trip listing with all their stops on the way.Gas will be cheaper all the way to Fl. which has about the same prices as us. We travel I-81 to US 17 to I-95 and cheapest prices are Exit 104 in VA, just into SC to Florence, and southern GA. (Brunswick to Kingsland) Once we found the cheapest stop, we got off that exit and read signs for prices, they usually all charge the same, so we didn't always get the brand we had looked up. Expect to be about 20 cents cheaper then New York prices(of course, lol)

We made the trip last summer. we live in Jersey just by the NY/NJ border, It cost us $100. each way. We filled up 3 times!
