Gas $2.56

I know it is not much.. cheaper than you guys but so far it has been the cheapest I have seen over here in Anaheim, CA $3.17. I was in shock! it has been a VERY,very LONG TIME since I have seen this low on gas. I pray that it keeps going even more down too.. say back to the low $2.00 or even $1.00 but I don't thinks so.. now I am asking for too much. jeje

We are still paying around $3/gal here in Charlotte. Some stations have it around $3.10, while a few are down to $2.99. I hope to see it come down further...

I'm noticing the same thing...MomofKatie, the Costco in Matthews had it for $2.89!

Saw $2.43 in Eagan yesterday and $2.49 out by us in Oakdale yesterday. Heard it fell more overnight though.

Parts of Eagan were at $2.65 and others were at $2.35 today . We are at $2.35 south of Eagan.

And I keep hearing about how gas going down is actually bad, because it's a sign of the crappy economy... But if gas goes down and families have more money to spend on other things, thereby stimulating the economy more, isn't that a good thing?

All I know is, lower gas=happier ME!

That's the same theory I have, my disposable income has increased by $30-40 a week with the lower prices, now I can eat out again or buy more things, both stimulate the economy. This may be offset by the problems on Wall Street though and the thousands of jobs that will be lost.

Gas here is 2.59, give or take a few pennies. My parents are paying 2.29 in Canton, OH.
