Gartner Convention

Does anyone know anything about the Gartner Convention. The CM told be when I booked WL for Oct 2008 the convention will be going on in early Oct, and there are a lot of room blocked out because of this, but to keep trying back to see if our first choice- a deluxe room- becomes free.

The convention is at the Dolphin. I feel sorry for anyone who stays at WL for this, the transportation over there will take them FOREVER unless they have a rental car!
