I was thinking of trying to get this when I heard the announcement. Then I saw the price. $85.00 !! Holy Tiki Torches, that's a lot of money! I wish I could afford these things. Has anyone gotten one?

OMG! Wowza. I saw a picture of it and loved it, but $85 is just...wow.

My friend was on line for one late morning and they sold out before he could get one. Apparently they did not limit how many you could get so resellers were on it early today. (Yesterday’s ordering capped limit at 2) My friend also heard from one of the skippers that there were some production issues with the mugs so a bunch couldn’t be sold, and that there may be another run of them because of this.

I think whatever you price it at, someone else on the planet that isn’t local is willing to pay more. A quick look at eBay shows me people are already listing these with bids over $150, buy it now prices over $200-250 USD.

It's true, I'm in the market but rumor is there are almost 5,000 of them in this batch, so I'll wait for the price to drop. Part of me always thinks I should just go down if I'm going to spend extra but no matter how fuzzy I try to make the Disney math even paying $100 over asking is cheaper than the flight alone.
