Gardenview Tea at GF

I booked the Gardenview Tea at the Grand Floridian for my mom and I in November. When I made the reservation (with a very new CM who wasn't quite sure how to work with the reservation system), she gave me a reservation time of 2:00 pm, and said that the tea is from 2:00 - 5:00 pm. For anyone that has done this, how does this work? Is the actual reservation time 2:00 or do they do multiple reservation times within that 2-5 window? It just seems like with 3 hours, they would have multiple seating times.

It works the same as any other restaurant...they just serve the afternoon tea in a more limited time. It sounds like you just happen to have the first time available.

Thanks. That's what I figured, but the CM kept insisting that it was from 2-5 and there were no later seatings (I wanted later than 2:00; she didn't say they weren't available as in the reservations were taken, but was insisting that there were never any other times other than 2:00!)

Guess I'll call back and talk to someone else!
