I'm thinking of trying Garden Grocer, but I'm wondering how it works. I understand you place the order online, select a time slot and they deliver it to your hotel, but I'm wondering if we have to be waiting at the hotel or will they just deliver it and give it to the bell services. Do we need to notify the hotel they are coming?

Was has everyone else done? :confused3

We did this last November. We were actually arriving Thanksgiving Day (when Garden Grocer was closed) so we asked them to deliver it the day before and just picked a time slot. We gave them our cell phone number and told them we would be in the car traveling but they never called or anything (which wasn't a big deal since they probably didn't need us). We got to our room and I called down to bell services (I think that is who I called) and they brought it right out. It was very nice not having to pack all of those canned drinks and bottled waters plus a good bit of snacks in the car.

We hadn't made it to the resort yet when GG called. I asked him to deliver it to bell services, and he said no problem. Once we were checked in, we headed to bell services, told them we were checking into our room and had a grocery delivery, and they pulled around a cart with the groceries loaded on it. We ended up tipping bell services for the trip, but we also had help bringing in the groceries :goodvibes

We have used GG on several occasions - most recently yesterday. We had a late arrival and I got a call on my cel phone while at the airport to let us know our groceries had been delivered to the resort and were stored with Bell Services.

After checking-in the Bell staff delivered our groceries within a few minutes. Everything was in the order and had been refrigerated while stored.

If you have any special requests or directions you may note them on the order.

Enjoy! :)

We used Garden Grocer with no problems. Made the order online, be sure to order early as delivery times sometimes become full (no more deliveries after slots are full) chose our delivery time and groceries were delivered without a hitch. They in fact arrived early and were stored with bell services, who delivered promptly after our arrival. All refridgerated and frozen items were stored accordingly. We had a split stay this time and bell services stored items again for us until our new room was ready.
We will use GG again.
Good Luck

I used GardenGrocer.com in August with no problem.
I ordered the items on line. There was a $12.00 delivery fee and I included gratuity and tax. When We arrived at WDW we went to the park. After the park, we called bell services to have our groceries delivered to the room. Garden Grocer packed the refrigerated items separately and Bell service will refrigerate your items awaiting your pickup. I like it because I don't have to worry about being at the hotel when the groceries arrive.
